previously, if there was a newline in some variables, it would not format
properly in `xbps-src show`. This fixes it by always splitting it by word
in some cases, like if there is a new line in the variable's value, and
removing internal commas in some cases.
This logic was split into a function for consistency.
fixes#40996
Example:
```
$ ./xbps-src show keepassxc
pkgname: keepassxc
xbps-src always ignore self deps in depends and in hostmakedepends
when not cross compiling. The old behaviour did only check for cross.
This now also ignores them in makedepends, but they are either way
disallowed in there, and returning an error would be correct, but
./xbps-src show-* is and never was suitable for linting, so ignore for now.
af6e1a7e79 introduces dependencies based in subpkgs,
but this makes "xbps-src show-build-deps" return cyclic
dependencies in some cases, i.e:
$ ./xbps-src show-build-deps kirigami2
cmake
extra-cmake-modules
kcoreaddons
kirigami2
qt5
$
This is because `kirigami2-devel` depends on `kirigami2`, thus
introducing a cycle.
Skip cycles completely, note that "show-build-deps" should not
be used to collect deps for cross compilation, because you can't
know what type of dependency it is: host or target.
- use xbps-checkvers(1) to resolve dependencies.
- all dependencies are installed at once for the host and target.
- the show-build-deps target is now much faster.
- the update-bulk/show-repo-updates targets are now much faster.
- the update-sys/show-sys-updates targets are now much faster.
- the bootstrap target now works on musl hosts.
- simplified some loops.
- use cut(1) rather than awk(1) where applicable.
- multiple random changes to improve performance.
* noarch=yes is replaced with archs=noarch
* only_for_archs= is renamed to archs=
* archs= allows the use of wildcards and negations; first matching rule applies:
* archs="*-musl" will build the pkg only for musl-libcs
* archs="~*-musl" will build the pkg only on non-musl-libc
* archs="x86_64-musl ~*-musl" will build for x86_64-musl and any non-musl
arch.
* archs= defaults to "*"
This commits allows ./xbps-src show to show the changelog field and for
changelog to be included with the -c/--changelog option via xbps-create.
Closes: #14102 [via git-merge-pr]
Permanent global pkg build options can be defined via 'XBPS_PKG_OPTIONS' in etc/conf.
Permament per-pkg build options can be defined via 'XBPS_PKG_OPTIONS_<pkgname>' in etc/conf.
Close GH #452.
The new xbps-src configuration file is `etc/conf` where you can
add your local overrides from defaults set via `etc/defaults.conf`.
To use this xbps-src, run these steps:
$ make
$ sudo make setup (to make chroot helper setgid)
$ ./xbps-src ...
